Is this it?

pacers[1]Last season, the Indiana Pacers missed the playoffs by 3 games. They were the first team on the outside looking in. So in order to update their chances, Larry Bird decided to overpay a defensive specialist, Danthay Jones, and an underachiever backup, Earl Watson. Both moves that updated their depth but really didn’t upgrade from what they already had. They lost Marquis Daniels out of the bullpen which could mean a lot because Danni Granger and Mike Dunleavy are two guys that can’t be trusted to stay healthy. They also lost Jarrett Jack who had benched TJ Ford.

If their stars, either one of them, find a way to play at least 85% of their games, they could easily fight for that 8th spot in the playoffs. I’m looking forward to see how Tyler Hansbrough’s career will develop as a pro.
